It's really nice up that way, in your third picture i noticed a wind farm. Is that the 1 near Tom's farm near Bwylch-y-sarnau? Been there many times with a youth project i worked for as a motocross coach.
Usually stayed there a couple of weeks in summer & the odd weekend visit during winter.

Been to Rhayader a few times and noticed the dam in the background, went down to the Tarenig rally last weekend really good day about 230 riders so quite a manic one !!! The bogs remind me of when i did the Red Kite last year it was snowing as well , so every off was a freezing cold one !
