Meter assembly for a 2000 Roadstar Dead Fuel Gage

I have a 2000 Yamaha Roadstar XV16AT and my gas gage is not working. I took it to the locval Yamaha dealer and they said they could not fix it. They did offer to put a new assembly in for about $600.00 but I decided that I wasn't that damn stupid. Does anyone either have or know of a place where I may find a Meter Assembly for my bike?
