Hi,
I have just got myself an 05 plate Xt125 X......
Does anyone know where I can get the original owners manual or better still a workshop manual for this bike.. Haynes/Clymer seem to only do XT's up to circa 1983....
Otherwise, does anyone know how to get the seat off of this bike!!! I need it off to gain access to the battery so that I can fit an alarm to stop the local yoofs taking my bike off on a joyride!!!!
Looking at the seat, at the rear of it, in an almost inaccessible place to get to there are two allen bolts on either side. One you can just about get to but when you start undoing it it hits a plastic lip, it is to small a gap to get anything in and coax the bolt out....Am I looking in the wrong place or do I need to start dismanteling the fairing just to get the seat off?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!! :o)

Hi,
just to update you guys,
thanks to Yamagod for the PDF files, the two bolts I had been looking at were definitly the ones I need to undo to take off the seat......
Unfortunatly there is Absolutley NO room under the seat to put an alarm!!!
After about an hour of taking various bits of fairing off I finally have it fitted !!!!!
Yamaha have got back to me and I can order a user manual direct from Yamaha dealers.
So again, thanks chaps for your assistance.

Just an update for you,
