Chain stuff

I need a new chain on my 86 Radian, but I don't have a lot of money.

I found this:

It is either this chain or a non-oring heavy duty chain. I haven't been able to find much, good or bad on Race-Driven chains. Anybody use one?

Also, I belive my bike came stock with a non-oring. Is it really necessary to upgrade to oring?
