Hi,
My son washed his aerox at the weekend and now the brake light is permenently on. I'm assuming he got water where he shouldn't but I can't seem to find the fault. The bulb is definatley ok and it's dry inside the lamp unit. Everything else works ok. Please does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Anne

Hi Anne, he more than likely got water into one of the switches, there will be a switch in the front brake lever and one that is operated from the rear brake pedal (or is that a lever too?) sorry not familiar with Aerox's. However try to identify the switches, you will see wires coming from them. When you find them give the a good spraying with WD40 whilst operating the relevant lever / pedal ;)
The two worst winters ever saw were back in the 70's, One was called Mike and the other Bernie...!

Thank you, that's very helpful, don't know why I didn't think of that. No electric probs for years, thankfully!
