The Haynes manual shows the FZR600 3HE cams clearly marked 'In' & 'Ex' but my FZR600R 4JH only has 'E' marked on one of them & I can't make out what the other mark is.
The local Yamaha dealer doesn't know !
Anyone know for sure if the attached photo is the exhaust cam pls ?
Thanks.

In the haynes manual on the FZ600 it says the cams are marked "I" for the inlet cam and "E" for the exhaust cam. Tony.

Thundercat motor (which is basically a tweaked FZR unit) has camshafts marked "I" for inlet & "E" for exhaust.
